Myanmar has experienced a flurry of investment activity since Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy assumed leadership in late 2015, including an Asian Development Bank agreement to develop the nation's transport infrastructure. However, some investors worry that recent rebukes by international bodies over human rights abuses against Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine State could jeopardize the investment climate and hurt development.
