Description

The Bhanga-Barisal Rail Track project is a section of railroad that will connect to the Padma Bridge. In May 2015 an MoU was signed with the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) for the Bhanga-Barisal line construction, and a feasibility study on a proposed rail route from Barisal to Paira Sea Port. As of September 2017, a feasibility study is underway.
