Description

The Southport Terminal at the Ashdod Port is part of Israel's port expansion drive to meet their growing trade demand. The expansion at the existing Ashdod Port is designed to increase the overall trade capacity of Israel as well as provide an alternative to the current Suez Canal route for East-West trade.
